The IIFA awards 2007 have been announced in Yorkshire and most of the winners are along expected lines.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Rang De Basanti won the Best Film award.
Raj Kumar Hirani, director of Lage Raho Munnabhai, was adjudged best director for reviving the values of Gandhi through cinema.
Hrithik Roshan was honoured with the best actor award for his performance as the Indian Superman in Krrishh.
Rani Mukherjee won laurels for her role in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
The awards for best performances in a supporting role went to Arshad Warsi who played Circuit in Munnabhai and Soha Ali Khan for Rang De Basanti.
