The 43rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is calling for entries. The festival will be held in Goa from November 20 – 30, 2012.The deadline for submission of entries is August 31, 2012.The Competition section of the festival features films by directors from all continents. Feature films completed between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2012 are eligible for competition. Except for films produced in India, the film should not have been shown in India before. A cash prize of Rs. 40,00,000/- will be shared equally between the Director and Producer of the Best Film.Feature films that have entered in, or won awards at other international film festivals, completed after January 1, 2011 can enter for Cinema of the World: Out of Competition section.The Festival is organized by the IFFI Secretariat for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa.
