Goa Education Minister Atanasio (Babush) Monserrate has been pulled up by Utt Goenkara, a social organization for lying on oath.

The local non-governmental organisation (NGO) claims that while Monserrate heads the education ministry, his own education documents presented to the Election Commission before the elections are fraudulent.

The NGO demands that not only should the concerned departments scrutinise Monserrate’s documents, but also that the minister steps down for having lied on oath.

 Atanasio (Babush) Monserrate

CERTIFIED TROUBLE: The NGO has filed an FIR against the minister for lying on oath

It is alleged that Monserrate has validated on the state government website that he is a BA undergraduate and has only completed the course’s second year.
However, his election affidavit states that he’s studied up to Class X (matriculation) SSC.

  1. Dear All

I like to bring to your notice that many Goan purchase the SC/ST, OBC certificate from the Schedule Caste Office (placed in Santa Cruz, Goa).
Do not feel Bad but it is the truth: This certificate can be purchased only by Hindu community.

To know the truth, easy way: when their children apply for professional courses after the XII class. You should not believe in the Certificate alone, but must find out who is the FATHER and what job he is doing (Sometime it is trouble - you have to go to their residence to know the truth - it is worth the trouble to know, how people cheat). The real good student do not stand in their professional study.

For Example: there are many, go to Porvorim and find out, persons have
become Directors (off course their father was SC), but at present live in million dollar house, at their children belong to SC/ST, OBC status.

Other family does not even belong to SC/ST, OBC. Their main earning person worked aboard for many year, you can find the status off living and at have Certificate for SC/ST, OBC for the children in order to get admission into professional college. Off course the bad news that child did not last in the professional college due to study pressure and had to change professional course, in order to coup with studies.

There may be many example like this, but the truth should be out. Finally this SC/ST, OBC should be out and everyone in the country should be equal and get whether job/study as per their merit. Only then India will improve - if not even after 100 years no improvement will take place, as population of SC/ST, OBC will increase then decrease.

So please check and I hope good think will happen

    Thanks & Regards

    Jack from Goa
