I read with interest your reports on Goa coastal erosion.
The blame seems only to be placed on development. i have witnessed for years how local people in Varca have removed sand and trees from the dunes. Year after year the dunes have deminished. There is a complete lack of education and enforcement. By the time the paddies are flooded it will be too late. Nobody seems to care. When will the Government act?
