Despite its tiny size, India’s Goa is an internationally recognized destination that has been popular with visitors since the 1960s. Also in the Candolim area, Villa Candolim is located near Goa’s nightlife. The property itself looks like a large, comfortable home. Staff are particularly friendly here and can direct you to the area’s best restaurants and nightclubs, just minutes away.
The Vainguinim Valley Resort in Machado’s Cove is a very highly rated hotel. The beach is a two minute walk away, but you don’t even need to leave the property for a unique experience at the hotel’s casino, “Chances.” Locals frequent the blackjack and poker machines. This is an excellent property for those who can’t decide between visiting north or south Goa; the Vainguinim is centrally located to both areas.
Goa has everything you need to fully experience India: intricately detailed Hindu temples, a variety of beaches, flea markets, yoga centers, and a variety of dining options. With high quality yet cheap hotel options throughout the state, Goa is an excellent destination choice for your Indian getaway.
